Picture taken from about the five o'clock position behind the shrine. The picture contains the rear shrine only accessible to the priests and the slightly bigger public facing one. Their rear slanted roofs are sunlit, most of the other things are in the shade. The shrine is surrounded by a few trees. I've layered the original image to add some color to the image and added a brownish frame.

A stone lantern at a shrine. It's placed on the slope of a small hill and I was standing at the bottom looking sightly up. The bottom two thirds of the lantern are completely covered by the shrub that grows all around it. It is manicured, somebody is doing some landscaping, but over time the height has grown to the point where we need to worry about the lantern. In the background are two palm trees and a flag pole. I've changed the color scheme to make everything reddish orange.

I started with a picture of a shrine gate that I took but it was pedestrian. I changed the colors (the gate is turquoise, the surrounding buildings blue, the sky is orange) and added a blur effect.

Photo taken at a temple. Behind a fence there were many stone lanterns and mini stone pagodas. I cannot tell if this is spare parts, a mason's workshop, or a spiritual place slightly in decay. I've adjusted the colors and given the shot a greenish hue to everything.

A wide shot of the countryside just before dusk. It consists of a row of small mountains with a power line running through it, mostly in shadow. The light is coming in from the right. The shot, as usual, is mostly sky with just a few clouds in it. And I've layered this image with a filter that gives it a reddish hue with vertical brush strokes running through it. I added a white frame around it as well.

There are pagoda-like roofs poking in on either side and there is an electrician pole centered on the head. I've changed the color spectrum to make the sky golden brown and I've added slight colorful accents around the contrast lines in the image.

A shot of the multi-tiered elevated motorways going through Roppongi. I've desaturated all the colors and added a greenish sort of hue. I've also added the word "Roppongi" both in English and Japanese. But for reasons I cannot quite comprehend, the software messed up the first kanji character, the one for the number six, and rendered it in a way that looks like it's been run over by a car.

A picture of a Buddha sculpture, which is part of a shrine in a cemetery. It's all open air without a roof and made of marble. There is a shoulder height hedge behind it. I've edited the picture to give the greenery and the sky a blurred effect and the tiled ground an effect that adds red and green offsets of edges - it's hard to describe. The idea was just to weird it up, the picture by itself isn't that interesting.

A picture taken on the side of the road. Half of it is in the shot, the other half is the dirt besides it. There is some vegetation on the dirt side and a big palm tree (or something of that kind, I'm not good in biology). In the center of the shot is a yellow diamond shaped warning traffic sign on a metal pole. The warning is about sharp turns ahead. Everything in the picture except for the sign and its pole have been given an effect that warped all objects in a random wave pattern. It looks weird but it's not distorted enough to make it unrecognizable.
