I know this is a shot in the dark, but...I need an #Android #recommandation
I'm looking for a cheap US-compatible phone that's unlocked, uses T-Mobile/Ting VOLTE, can be rooted, and can run a custom ROM like #Lineage_OS or #AOSP.
It doesn't need to have a ton of features or high specs. I just want a cheap phone I can de-Goggle and remove bloat on.
Any ideas on some good phone models to check out?

phone broke while playing vr racing on a wobbly desk, fml
phone reccs? ideally something with more than 128gb of storage, and an okay camera (i don't really care about it, but i also don't want it to be 3ds levels of quality)
also needs to be able to run lineage os, or any other de-googled os, but also something that will work well with bank apps
It's been a month since I switched to #Lineage_OS 19 without gapps (the only Google app I have is Maps and I installed it manually without Play Services). I try to keep it as most #open-source as possible (and tomorrow I'll be deleting both my Instagram account and the app itself). I will say I'm glad I switched. I found very nice high-quality #FOSS #software, I'm now in a much healthier social media environment thanks to the #fediverse, and I've been learning to value my #privacy more than ever

3 Tage hat es gebraucht um auf meinem #xiaomimimix2 das #lineageos zu installieren, Schwierigkeiten beim booten irgendwie überwunden, aber läuft. Ist schon besser geworden ein #customrom aufzuspielen, trotzdem immer noch erhöhter Blutdruck :0220: .
Ich habe zwar das Gefühl, der #Akku schwachelt schneller, aber ansonsten bin ich ganz glücklich!

@paulkater Cool! Will you be running #lineage_os on it? I heard bootloader unlocking requires a code (i.e. approval) from Fairphone.
I thought I found my "ideal" #smartphone :

But… underwater the screen locks itself and the camera app auto-closes itself ! !
It means you can only shoot #videos… without changing #parameters (exposure, zoom…)
