#LochOre

Some wild flowers growing beside the path around Loch Ore in Fife. Being as my plant recognition is woeful, I had to look these up. It seems the purple ones are known as Patterson's Curse, and I think that is a single red poppy at the top.

I just liked the contrasting colours.

A photo of wild flowers, with the majority being a purple colour, and a single red one at the top of the picture. The flowers contrast strongly with the green foliage that fills most of the image.

I walked around Loch Ore near Lochgelly in Fife this morning. What a great place! Well-maintained paths, and a nice visitor centre with a lovely café.

It's well worth a visit, and with it being so close to Loch Leven, you can spend some time there too.

I liked this stream leading out to the loch, with the tree on the centre left silhouetted against the sky.

Picture of a stream leading towards a distant loch. On both sides is extensive green vegetation, and there are two dark green woods in the far distance. A small tree juts up from the left bank of the stream, almost in the centre of the photo, silhouetted against the sky. The stream is also reflecting the cloudy sky, making it appear unusually bright.
