One of my favorite #TV shows of all time is Mystery Science Theater 3000. The original run lasted 11 seasons, and it lives on in revivals such as Cinematic Titanic, Rifftrax, a new Netflix series and more.

I never knew how much joy I'd get from watching a guy and two puppets make fun of crap movies.

Today I discovered that there is a 1980s Greydon Clark movie, starring Joe Don Baker [1], which has not been riffed by RiffTrax (or MST3K, or Cinematic Titanic), and I'm frankly shocked.

If it's not one of the four new episodes of MST3K the RiffTrax guys are doing, I'm going to be some disappointed.

[1] The same #cinematic pairing that resulted in Final Justice (1985), A.K.A. "Mitchell Goes to Malta", some of the finest #cheese ever #riffed.

There was a time when the Repubs actually cared about the loss of a fighter jet.

Hell, there was a movie riffed on #MST3k that was just for Air Force folk where the (rather shaky) plot was a Congressman, who is chair of the Armed Forces Committee, pesters the Air Force about the loss of "another" fighter jet in a training mission. That film was from 1965.

Ironically, the son of the Congressman in the movie was played by an actual future Rep. Bob Dornan (R-CA).
