Camped out for a couple of days helping friends plant a few hundred native Irish trees. Mostly hawthorn, with some willow, oak, rowan, birch, and crab apple.
It was cool and showery at night. I didn't sleep much, but it was cosy. Heard a fox and about a dozen pheasants (or the same pheasant a dozen times), The crows kept watch during the day

Today Naas Biodiversity Group planted its third pocket forest, with 1,310 native trees:
