To this, #Proudhon proposes a strategy equivalent to #Clisthenes: a #Federation, but the #Proudhonian version is bottom-up and #Free (#Mutualism), not top-down like in #Athens. #Proudhon also proposes the idea of a #MinimalState, which could ensure #Federalisms, and maybe be mandated (the only indefinite mandate) for #IntergenerationalTransmission (my suggestion).

$20 bill: The #JacksonianConsensus was powerful. It unleashed market capitalism by stealing #Indigenous property and celebrated a #MinimalState, and increased the capacity of that state to push the #frontier forward. A series of Jackson's successors united #slavers and #settlers under a banner of #freedom from restraints on slaving, dispossessing others, and restraints on moving west.
