I am an absolute sucker for every flavor of “first take best take” / “got it in one” / “spark of genius” music miracle. “Sweet Dreams” comes to mind, Clare Torry (ok ok that one is “bits of takes two and three best take”), the “beautiful jam”, every Karen Carpenter session story, you know, that stuff.

No WONDER it took me for fucking ever to sort out the time signature etc at the beginning of this song. No WONDER there are extra random bass notes and clapping at the end.
Given the context from this interview: the triplet kick that leads into the first verse is absolute genius. Tap it out with your hands, right hand 16th note hats, left hand 8th note rimshot, half note kicks, then that triplet kick. Boom. Genius.

Thinking on it, are there any other good #AceAttorney style detective/courtroom games that anyone can recommend? I've played some #Danganronpa (the first and part of the second) as well as indie titles like #MurderByNumbers and #AviaryAttorney. Any hidden gems I might be unaware of?
I recently started playing #MurderByNumbers, a detective #VisualNovel with #picross puzzles, because I had it in my library and wanted something quick and light to play in the evenings after finishing my drawing for the day.
It's charming enough, but all the picross puzzles leave me feeling oddly frazzled—not because they're particularly hard, but because they feed a certain compulsive counting tendency in my brain in a way that I'm not entirely sure is healthy...

last time, things were getting kinda weird in our investigation. our prime suspects weren't the ones who'd committed murder and assault and battery, etc. then Mizrahi, the main character, electrocuted the culprit unconscious (which could've been attempted murder too lol). just... a lot of stuff happened.
