I think AFC Toronto surprised a few people today who aren’t familiar with Canada’s Northern Super League.
They’ve been playing really well all tournament for the #WorldSevensFootball and came close to winning most matches.
They took KC Current down with them in style today.
Wouldn’t be surprised if a few teams in the NWSL scouted a couple players on the Toronto team including 17 year old Kaylee Hunter.

It’s the first year and second tournament in W7F’s existence and it’s getting the broadcast quality it deserves (including lots of analysis and interviews in between matches).

The second edition of World Sevens Football starts today, shortly, from Fort Lauderdale and on TNT. It's a 7-v-7 women's tournament with a $5M prize pool ($2M to the winners). Kansas City and San Diego from #NWSL are in it. It's an all Americas edition after all Europe first.
