Many tracks to me feel more like a #NeilFinn solo record; specifically out of silence, although at first hearing they don’t appear to have that same high quality as OoS (which was a ridiculously well-crafted effort imo).
It’s all very mellow, not the typically mix of mellowness and edginess (that’s what I call love, kill eye, black & white boy) that typified CH for me.

Split Enz started with Tim, then brother Neil joined and wrote their hits. After that ended, Neil started Crowded House...and in this, their third album, Tim joined.
This started as a Finn Brothers release, with true co-writes, and morphed into a Crowded House release.
It's one of their best.

Jälkikäteen harmittaa, ettei ostettu lippuja jokaiselle illalle, mutta mentiin sentään viimeisen illan keikalle.
Neil Finn oli kasannut aikamoisen kasan laatumuusikoita soittamaan Crowded House-klassikoita ja omia biisejään, ja meininki oli loistava.
Vanhassa teatterissa soitetun keikan alussa oli sellainen huikea hetki, kun ihmiset alkoivat tekemään istuimille jätetyistä A4 mainoslehtisistä paperilennokkeja, ja heittelemään niitä parvelta permannon ilmatilaan leijailemaan pimeydessä. Laserit ja spotit valaisivat valkoisia lennokkeja satunnaisesti, muuten ne katosivat pimeyteen.
Kandee katsoa Utubesta tai DVD:ltä koko keikka, jos ei muuten niin bongatakseen meikäläisen ja puolison nuorina ja nätteinä baaritiskillä leffan alussa 😂
