I often comment here about discussions that go on elsewhere , partly because private technical forums represent a significant slice of life that would otherwise remain opaque and partly because there is some "discomfort" regarding subject matter the general public is deeply interested in. Folks sometimes like to skip the nerding out in exchange for the more gossipy bits. I get that...even if it feels wrong. I never used cliff notes in school.
