I have seen only very few photographic images of #Nessmuk, and I've been a fan of his for longer than most. No image I have ever seen of him has been this detailed, not even at The Adirondack Experience (formerly The Adirondack Musuem), which has his canoes (and is definitely worth a visit to Blue Mountain Lake, NY).

This book, by the museum, features one of the only known photographs of Nessmuk.

This image, which purports to be a photograph of George Washington Sears, the famous outdoors writer on the late 19th Century who adopted the name #Nessmuk, appears on a website that to my eye is entirely #AIslop. The site, "Dirt, Fire & Sharp Things", has no identifiers or means of contacting the creator. A Google Image search for images of Sears, and of this image, itself, turns up no other similar images, which leads me to believe the image is also #StochasticParrot #GenerativeSlop.
