#AmReading the #romance Sweet Beginnings by Nicole Ellis. It's good, not great.
I find the MC a bit too naive and lacking self-awareness for my taste. She met her boyfriend and his mom separately, and it takes her a while to stay out of their relationship. She wants to fix it. She also (and still) hasn't seen why the boyfriend is apprehensive. It's because MC is like his mother - a bit flighty, and keeps missing dates / promises due to work.
