Trying out Joplin for notes for the past couple of days and liking it thus far.

Love the fact that it is:
(a) Markdown based.
(b) Allows for cloud sync if required
(c) Available on most of the platforms.

One drawback for me at least is that desktop app is electron based. But will give it a shot for another few days before deciding if to stick or look for some other app.
