We found a Pickaxe bottle miraculously washed ashore at Reeves Point. Pickaxe bottles were made and managed by the Adelaide Bottle Company from 1910 to the 1990s.

(Canon EOS M50 with a vintage Canon FD zoom lens 70-210mm 1:4. Because this camera doesn't want to work with this lens, it's manual focus and manual aperture.)

And onto old meets new - the last version of the non-AI Nikon 28mm f3.5 lens meets new - the aperture ring has been replaced with a 3D print of a converter, enabling it to be used on modern cameras as an AI lens.

3D printing thanks to the local library.

An old Nikkor 28mm 1:3.5 camera lens on a wooden deck. It is serial number is 208761, which works out as roughly manufactured in 1976. The lens has a black plastic 3D printed aperture ring in the style of the earlier all metal construction versions of this lens. This plastic part looks out of place compared to the beautiful numbering and engraving on the lens, but enables the lens to be used in modern days.

At the front of the lens is a lens filter, again this is old school and the filter ring can be seen to be brass under the black covering paint. The words "Nikon Japan" can be clearly seen.
