It is a cold January day in the winter field covered with snow. The sun will soon set and it will be so quiet and even colder. The last sun rays illuminate that white winter scene and bring some warmth and nice yellow tones. There is nothing else around but an old well surrounded by bushes and bare branches of trees in the middle of the field. Somewhere in Sumadija, Central Serbia. From the Winter Fields Collection.

A once every three year job finished, cutting the circular hedge around the well back to mid chest height! The pump is from 1908 and works fine except in the coldest of months.
