Microsoft introduced Windows 1.0 — its first graphical interface for PCs. 🖥️

💡 Before Cloud Computing, There Was Timesharing (1950s)

Back in the 1950s, computers were giant machines that only one person could use at a time. Then came a man named Fernando J. Corbató, who changed everything.

He introduced timesharing — a system that let many people use one computer at the same time.

Instead of everyone owning their own computer, people connected their terminals (screen + keyboard) to a single main computer.
That computer divided its time among users so fast that each person felt like they had their own personal computer.
