Still have yet to do any of the "win a run challenges". Half a month left! Not giving up on #OneWayHeroics either, we're going the distance next time~ ✊

Session 1 of #RogueloveChallenge: Decided to play #OneWayHeroics! Short, relatively approachable and fun traditional roguelike. Attempting the following challenges this run: Red Flag (use a negative Perk), First Love (use only my starting weapon!), Dating App (take the last-in-menu upgrade at every opportunity!), and Gold Digger (never spend money!). :underheart:

• #openXCOM for the classic #XCOM / #UFODefence suffering
• #Brogue for a colourful #roguelike
• #OneWayHeroics for a mix between a #rogueLite and an #ActionRPG, where you play a character from various classes who has to try to outrun the darkness swallowing up the world from the left, while gearing up and leveling up to eventually face the evil villain at the end.

Maybe they're not the best #games, or the most replayable, but they brought something different to their genres, and are thus worth a look at. :)

(Though One Way Heroics and #PacMan 256 do kinda share the same 'unique' driving feature of having to stay ahead of the 'void', but each brought it to a different #gaming genre.)
