This morning, I heard the first report of someone passing their US ham radio exam by using Open Ham Prep to study! 🎉
Brad added two huge new features over the past week!
A research-backed test readiness score helps you know with high confidence whether you are really ready to take the test
Merely knowing the answers to the questions doesn't prepare you to operate. Brad has added 57 (so far) topics that lead you through the background knowledge for the Technician level. The topics are intended to cover the knowledge required to understand the test questions. You can study the topics in any order if you want, but they have been arranged into 16 lessons that lead you through the topics. Regardless of whether you are following the lesson plan or reviewing topics you are weak in, each topic ends with a quiz that is each of the test questions that is relevant to the topic.
He also made several quality of life fixes and improvements. The glossary entries now link out to a DuckDuckGo search for the glossary term, so if you want to go beyond the glossary entry in the app, you can easily get to more information.
Are you already a licensed ham? Please help Elmer others!
