I hadn't realized that there was an #OrgMeetup today, didn't notice @yantar92's email on my phone, and I totally missed both announcing it in Emacs News getting the BigBlueButton server up. I've now added it as a recurring entry on my calendar and I've added cronjobs for the next six months so that BigBlueButton will probably scale up and down automatically. I'm so glad Ihor had Jitsi as a backup. Whoops! Embarrassing...

I started looking into the Galène videoconference server for #OrgMeetup, #EmacsConf, and other events. It was pretty easy to get working and I can connect to it from Google Chrome, but I couldn't connect to it from Firefox in a snap (can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://...:8443/ws). I followed the instructions at https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/04/how-to-install-firefox-deb-apt-ubuntu-22-04 , and the non-Snap version of Firefox works. I remember running into websocket issues in Firefox when I was panicking about getting BigBlueButton working for EmacsConf. It still feels a little uncool to say, well, people might just have to change browsers.
