This should have been obvious, but I just learned that when you want to sort all headings in #Emacs #orgmode, you can just Cmd-A to select all the text in the buffer and then `org-sort` is smart enough to leave the frontmatter alone and sort only the headings. I thought I had to manually select the first heading and drag all the way down to the final one before sorting. Duh. Is there anything orgmode can’t do?

Little by little I've been going more and more analog. I still track every little thing I need to do in my #OrgMode system to help manage my #ADHD, but that list itself can get a little overwhelming. I've started combing over it in the morning, picking out the most critical things for that day and writing them down on a paper checklist in a small notebook I keep in my pocket. The notebook has the advantage of not distracting me with a thousand notifications every time I'm trying to do something productive.

Plus, I just really like having an excuse to put a nice #FountainPen and ink to paper.

Texte in #office zu schreiben ersetzt ein Blatt Papier durch ein digitales Blatt Papier. Es bleibt eine den Papierseiten als Dokumentenstruktur verhaftete Denkweise.
Ein Wechsel in der #Bildung zu #markdown oder #orgmode wäre ein Wechsel, in Inhaltlichen Strukturen statt in Seiten zu denken.

@ammaratef45 I’ve written substantial python projects with #Emacs. And yes #orgmode is fantastic. I recently discovered #Hyperbole which adds links everywhere.

Learning #emacs have been so much fun, wondering if any nerds out there use it to for large projects, so far I only use it for projects that are about few files (less than 10 or so).

#orgmode has been a game changer to my note taking and project planning tho!

I really enjoy emacs on my phone: finally real mobile #orgmode but I realize how different I use #emacs on #android than on my laptop: I regularly use the menu bar and the tool bar, which I keep turned off on the laptop. Probably because using a touchscreen is more like using a mouse than a normal keyboard.
