Last Saturday Pick of the Pops on BBC Radio 2 today with Mark Goodier. Moves to Sundays from 4 May. POTP moved to current time slot 4 April 2009 when Dale was presenting. It had previously been on Saturday afternoons 1997-2004 with Fluff then Dale #radio #POTP

'Our Gambo' was OK on BBC Radio 2's Pick Of The Pops but that style of show really benefits from more conversational elements as evident when someone/anyone took over from him when he was on holiday. Plus Gambo freely admitted it was the sort of thing he could do in his sleep without much in the way of prior research. Arguably a waste of a talented presenter given his extensive capabilities. #POTP

Listening to some of the #PickOfThePops #PotP show on BBC Radio 2 and one of the charts is from 1985; they often seem to choose a year also featured on the BBC Four #TOTP repeats.
