Pedal People Cooperative Inc. is a worker-owned human-powered delivery and hauling service for items under 300 pounds in Northampton, Massachusetts, USA. It was started in December 2002 by Ruthy Woodring and Alex Jarrett. We are now an incorporated cooperative business with 27 active workers.

Nästan alla kedjeväxlar vill flytta kedjan till svåraste växeln. Det behövs vajerspänning för att dra kedjan till lättare växlar. På de flesta moderna cyklar saknar det betydelse, men om man har framväxel, eller gammaldags friktionsreglage, så är kedjeväxlarna ologiska och ibland opraktiska. Här en sevärd video om de "rättvända" kedjeväxlar som Shimano tillverkade under några år.

Looking at parked bikes can be quite interesting. It tells you about the bike culture in the area, and about how people use their bikes in everyday life. Kind of like how timetables and route maps are interesting for people into trains and airplanes.

Half nur gestern mir nicht, weil der Gurt eh schon auf seiner Maximallänge kaum noch zu ging. Sonst hätte ich das gemacht.

Won't allow to fold it completely without unlocking the buckle first, though.
