Today some airport #geology before the internet must be turned off. It's an unspectacular but beautiful #granite. The white #minerals are #feldspar the grey ones are #quartz &the black ones #biotite a #mica #mineral.

Today after almost 2 years some #PavementGeology/#UrbanGeology from the Hamburg Airport. Nice #Salisbury Pink #Granite. I think this #leucocratic granite is a beautiful #rock. Foliation is clearly visible.

My Stepmother has a #countertop that I love. She knows my love of #geology and had a cutting board made for me as their counters were installed.

Wanting to read about the geology of "#Ubatuba granite" I was surprised to discover it's considered #igneous and/or #metamorphic and it's a charnockite, a new term for me. I'll have some reading to do once home!
