1. It was late on Friday night, and the pies were sleeping in the bakers shops on Callander Main Street.

I won a #pieOff competition today! My friends put on an annual competition with silly categories and I was angling hard for “Faster Higher Stronger.”

I made custom pie tins out of aluminum so I could have Jenga-block sized finger pies that were stackable. With help from a GF, I put on a whole one act play where I built the tower as an athlete representing USA in the “Púrgos Pitas” event. The structure didn’t live past the announcements, but it was a crowd favorite all the same.
