A couple days ago, Colorado banned single use plastic bags.

Today I re-homed the 2 billion string backpacks my kids have received from every camp and special school event for the last four years.

And by re-homed, I mean I left them at the self checkout at Walmart to be adopted like stray kittens. 😁🤣

I'm feeling very pleased with myself today.

We're not buying wrapping paper this year. We've got some left over from previous years, and we'll use that up, but everything else is going to be wrapped in fabric and fabric bags sourced/made from my ridiculously extensive fabric stash. I reduce my stash, and they're practical given the #PlasticBagBan. Another benefit: way less rubbish at #Xmas.
