And I don't really think about Wally much, so I didn't have a concrete answer. But then someone with a galaxy brain in my server suggested Zinnia and Oh My God. I love it. He's so small and frail and she's insane. It's an amazing dynamic.

The first two panels of a short comic about Brendan and the Hoenn Elite 4. The comic is titled "Pokemon League Meeting". In the first panel, while everyone gathers at the meeting table, Glacia hands Brendan a soda can and says, "Here, Brendan. I saved you a cheri soda. Your favorite." Brendan responds with, "Sweet! Thanks, Mom!" The second panel is a close up of Brendan's face of stunned disbelief as he realizes the mistake he made.

The third panel of the comic. Brendan hangs his head and pulls his hat over his face in shame as the nearby Elite 4 members laugh at him. Phoebe says, "Did you just call Glacia "Mom"? Glacia teases, "It's OK, Brendan. I can be your mommy if you'd like." Sidney jokes, "Don't worry, kid. I'm sure Steven has a rock you can hide under." Brendan has a very defeated text bubble that reads, "No... I meant... Oh nooouuuggghh"

The last panel of the comic. On the other side of the table, Steven excitedly exclaims, "WHAT?! Brendan needs a rock?! I have plenty of rocks you can have! And even more that you can borrow!" Drake sits in his chair quietly ignoring everyone. Wallace gently places his hand on Steven's arm and says, "Steven... no... Not helping..."

Playing through Pokémon Alpha Sapphire again (thanks to @yesjohn) and realising that all these people are just hanging out in and around Fallarbor town, just breathing in volcanic ash all day long?

Like, as a kid you’re going ‘“Oh cool, it’s like snow, and you can collect the ash and trade it for things. Neat!”

As an adult it’s pretty… grim? Like “hey kids, go play in the ash and toxic atmosphere.”

Rival 2 has now been beaten. *immediately saves game* Didn't lose any pokemon, didn't have to do any healing, but Trekkie (Electrike) was getting low on health. I'd give a picture, BUT gamefreak decided to give me a free heal.

Wattson was an easy sweep, just like before. Zombert (Zombie Marshtomp (zombie because I used one of the revives I found to bring him back. I'm not allowed to buy revives though.)) was able to sweep the whole gym with Mud Shot. Onwards to Meteor Falls, and then Mt Chimney.
