I played around with Premiere Pro’s Light appearance and Label Color Presets to make a teenage engineering inspired theme. It looks good in Dark as well!

Just used a peice of neg dirt to determine which field was which in an "off-field" telecine music clip from 1983, to try and get the full 576 lines. Only to discover the fields are basically the same. Wondering if the number of people left on earth who know what I'm talking about is >10 #postchat
There's all sorts of AI assistant tools for editors but nothing that I know of that would scan the footage for slates and create metadata from them.
My studio is looking to hire a Motion Graphics Artist in the Leola, PA area.
We’re looking for someone who has some comfort/experience with both 2D Graphics work (vfx and motion design) as well as 3D, though we’re flexible on how those two areas are weighted.
If you’re using #PremierePro 25.2.x and you get a dialog box or a warning in your sequence that says:
> Can't access audio
>
> The audio for {Filename} can't be read quickly enough from storage. Please check your storage and try again.
It’s a known issue and Adobe’s addressing it.
The workaround?
1. Uninstall Premiere Pro 25.2.x.
2. Reinstall Premiere Pro 25.1 or earlier.
3. (Optional) Disable Auto-Update for Premiere Pro.

If you're not in the big league, you have to know most of this stuff as an editor yourself
I'm using Topaz Video A.I. to transcode video from 1080p to 4k.
the MacBook Pro M4 Max I'm using has a 140W power supply, which is connected. (Magsafe)
But this M4 Max is drinking more than 140W of power and is actually depleting the battery - while plugged into power.
Total used power for the last 3 hours is ~150W.
Fascinating.
Makes me wonder, if I had a stronger power supply, would that make any benefit for this task? I can't tell based on Apple's tech specs if this MBP would recognize anything greater than 140W.
It also kinda makes me want an M4 Max Mac Studio. But I vowed to hold off until next gen; i'm still mad at no M4 Ultra.

So Jump Desktop is actually causing us some headaches the last few weeks, but in the process of reading up on their releases I learn: they finally have a phone solution: use a web browser. yay!

By the way, After Effects 25.2 was just released with honestly one of the biggest features – High Performance Preview Playback.
It takes advantage of how fast modern SSDs are and combines the Disk Cache with RAM Preview so you can reliably play back your whole comp even if it doesn't all fit into RAM!

Premiere Pro 25.2 is out today! It's a big release, with a major new feature I'm very proud of.
Pr now semantically analyzes the content of your video (all on-device), and with the new Search panel you can search for the shot you need with natural language. It's so awesome to be able to find that one shot in a second instead of hunting through bins and skimming stringouts.
