Our next swap was pencilled in for July, but I think this will be August instead. Yours truly is also travelling throughout July, so you might not see much activity here, but don't worry.

@le_friwi_56 Then I traveled extensively for work back in the 1980s, I sent a postcard to my grandmother from expert city I visited. When she died, we found them all in a shoebox. She saved every single one. #postcardswap

I have heard about one of my postcards arriving, but the other two are either still on their ways, or have arrived but the receiver hasn't reported (yet), or I can't see their post due to how the fediverse works. (I have forgotten to add my handle, so they can't tag me.)

I accompanied Summer as she carefully inspected the perimeter of her front acre. Her morning ritual since she moved in with us.
The area behind the blueberries seemed particularly suspect for some reason.
In the end all was well. You can't take these things for granted though.
We also planted more vegetable seeds today and started prepping the potato patch.
Today's mail included a postcard from New Zealand! We were pretty excited. Loving the #PostcardSwap

I've received three beautiful postcards through #PostcardSwap. Two arrived intact, but Royal Mail messed up royally, and delivered a part of one card. One great coincidence is that, the last one arrived just after I'd entered the flat following a long trip. Thank you to my matches, for the beautiful cards and stamps, which I'll share in subsequent toots.

We can't do much about slow postal services, but we can check in with the senders and we also have "super swappers" ready to go just in case something has gone wrong and we need to send a few extra cards. :blobheartcat:

I have only read 1 Discworld book so far, The Color of Magic, but I also own The Night Watch and need to read it soon! I hope there are more magical creatures in the other books because I enjoyed the dragons in the 1st one. #postcards
