This is a horizontally oriented illustrated Christmas postcard. The central image depicts a winter landscape at sunset. Snow covers the ground, and a narrow stream or pond runs across the foreground, reflecting bands of yellow, orange, and red light from the sky.

On the left side of the image, a small cluster of buildings is visible, including a house with lit windows and a steep roof. Behind the buildings are tall, dark evergreen trees. On the right side, two large leafless trees with thick trunks stand near the edge of the water.

The sky transitions from pale yellow near the horizon to pink, orange, and light gray higher up, suggesting late afternoon or early evening. Snowbanks frame the scene on both sides.

Printed text appears at the top of the postcard and reads:
