@malcolm fyi, the 2021 guide switches from roles to accountabilities. so you can name the roles whatever you want, but those people still have to be accountable for some specific stuff. and, yes, agile teams might not need those accountabilities, but you can't have without them.

Although you may see Scrum Master & Product Owner as job titles in organisations, that was never the intent of the Scrum Framework. It is the result of 25 years of accumulated misunderstandings.

These are the accountabilities that are required for Scrum to function and can be picked up by anyone of any job title.
