Just realised that switching the tow point from the nose to ~just behind front wing will neutralise a lot of the way tow geometry pulls it. But it's going to be sensitive in terms of stability. Time to screw in three hoops.

A homemade towed underwater vehicle. Big 2x2 inch bit of wood with 3D printed fins and other bodges bolted on, with a GoPro at the front.

Photos of , the unpowered, kayak towed underwater filming rig J and I are playing with. Total cost, apart from our time and the camera itself, is about $20.

A metre long bit of 2x2 inch wood, with 3D printed hydrofoil parts and a tube full of lead weights attached, sitting on a rock by a quiet beach and harbour.A metre long bit of 2x2 inch wood, with 3D printed hydrofoil parts and a tube full of lead weights attached, sitting on a rock by a quiet beach and harbour. Shot looking down the "nose", the main wings noticeably skew upwards (dihedral).
