Pink mums, as a mound of flowers, masquerading as daisies. Yellow centers, pink petals, and looking closely, you see classic mum leaves.

A final #foraging count from one week in the dunes: 1.5 gal (5.6 L) of wild cranberries, but zero, as in not a single beach plum (whereas last year in the same location I harvested 16 lb of beach plums).
