I was so excited to meet the creator of the earrings that I won from the #PyconUS #PyLadies auction -- and discover she made a pair for herself, too!

If you squint hard, you can kind of read the Python program in the earrings...

Considering the madcap cornucopia bonus lot that sold for > $2k at the #pyladies auction, maybe these can go into a "mystery lot" next year. Or maybe that's illegal, I don't know.
(Also, I turned in one of those nice water bottles and I'm a little sad that its owner hasn't found it yet)

Supporting PyLadies was a lot of fun. I'll post a more detailed look at the "random stuff" bag later. But I am so exhausted now. FlaskCon yesterday, up at 7 today for a 5k run, 38k steps, 9.8 miles, and a lot of good chaos surrounded by friends and an awesome community at the auction. #PyConUS #PyLadies

I'm so glad I decided to go to the #PyLadies auction at #PyConUS tonight! It was SO much fun! I spent some time with old friends and made a bunch of new ones too.

Also, I am very glad that @wagtail got to be part of the famous "pen" grab bag lot that raised $2.1K for PyLadies! I loved how everyone in the room jumped in to contribute to the pile of loot that helped PyLadies reach their fundraising goal for the evening.

Such a fun time! 10 out of 10 would do again!

We conference organizers who are also software engineers love building tools that help us run events instead of using spreadsheets all the way down.
