I'm sure Peter Burke thought that was a strong performance on #RTEDrivetime and that he put Simn Féin in their place but in reality he came across as an ignorant bully trying to score cheap political points. I don't think many swing voters will have been impressed.

Something that didn't get mentioned on #RTEDrivetime in their #EV piece was that #Tesla no longer build #RHD cars. For me that would be a complete deal-breaker - its fine for a week or two when you take the ferry to the #continent but for 50 weeks of the year?! Madness

I listened to a ten minute slot on #RTEDrivetime earlier where the presenter discussed the problem of unusually high levels of air traffic in Europe this summer and the problems that was causing. He spoke with a tourism industry lobbyist and a Fine Gael TD. It was only at the very end of the discussion, almost as an afterthought, that the presenter asked if perhaps we should be limiting air travel because of the environmental impact.

Neither guest agreed.
