Just finished the #MRCarey #Pandominion series ("Infinity Gate" and "Echo of Worlds"). Great stuff! A great cast of very different kinds of selves, sentient creatures from different Earths and self-conscious AIs from different universes.
Heady stuff, but anchored by very real and relatable characters. With some thematic echoes from the #RampartTrilogy, (The #BookOfKoli et al.), which is one of my favourite series by any author.
