@TheRealEricE Oh, you put it into words so well. I really want to like this game, and while I enjoy the cinematic vibe of #FinalFantasyXVI, the combat feels more shallow than entry-level slashers like #Ravenlok and #FIST I recently played!

Either things feel too automatic, or I get cramp for having to button bash so much. Combat could have been somewhat slower and much weightier in #FF16 #FFXVI for sure.

So I’m with you on #Ravenlok now @iieksi and @Player1MGA@mstdn.games. 😊

And finished and completed it in one go. 😅

Fun little hack & slash game with some discovering and puzzling, light to play and easy to master. Another one of those games that truly shines on #Xbox #GamePass.

Fired up the #Xbox again after some #FinalFantasyXVI and #DiabloIV on the #PlayStation.

Giving two #GamePass games a chance.

I agree with the critics calling #Ravenlok a ‘My First RPG’, but with such a terrible camera and unbalanced levelling up, it hardly is a good game.

#TheBookwalker seems weird, twenty minutes in. Should come back when I’m less tired.

I'm currently playing some GamePass games until my next AAA experience, and this time I stumbled upon #Ravenlok , a small indie adventure RPG set in a Wonderland in crisis, ruled by a very bad Queen with no soul. It's a very charming game that makes use of something called voxel tech (don't ask me about it, I'm clueless). It was created by Cococucumber from Canada. #Xbox
