Just a reminder for myself, higher price pen is about the body. After 1 month of my monteverde ritma kept drying up while writing few lines, and then I remembered I got jinhao x450 that had the same #6, so swapped it out, well ritma worked flawlessly now. 🤦♀️ Chinese pen save the day again.

I was surprised to receive a replacement Monteverde Ritma Espresso from Goulet before I send back the defective pen. And it’s working quite well. The cap even caps smoothly and doesn’t have a ridiculous vacuum/suction when uncapping. No scratches on the section, and the cap doesn’t seem like it will scratch against the section. The one I received previously must’ve been really off in a few ways.
