And the flight home is delayed another two hours. Again, I have no wallet and no phone. Just a laptop that barely functions. Thus, I have no means to pay for food. Fortunately, a kind woman gave me her leftover fries and that helped a lot.

I've now moved into the anger stage and I a trying to control myself. I am tired, drained of energy. Wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone. Again, it could have been a lot worse.

Two days after I was robbed in New Orleans, I've written 1,900 words of a novel inspired by the experience. It's been helping me greatly to stay calm and process what happened. It would be hilarious if I finished this and someone actually published it. Ha!

Update: Made it through TSA. They were incredibly kind and one officer even laughed at one of my jokes. Looks like I'll be able to fly back to NYC without any problem. A friend is picking me up at the airport. And I've got other friends looking out for me. Thanks again to everyone who has gone above and beyond to make sure that I'm okay. I've been stunned and greatly appreciative of all the kindness.
