Nostalgia -o Natalia25- habla sobre el miedo a pasar de etapa, solo que en su inocencia lo confunde con saudade. Ya la comodona portada marca esa reticencia. Y eso lo convierte en un mejor -segundo- LP.
El disco abunda en melodías infalibles haciendo que parezca fácil 1) dar con ellas y 2) sacarlas palante. Plastilina sería el modelo tipo de esto, pura melodía de ligera electricidad mecida por la voz y la letra abierta por un envite electrónico final.

Despuntan las alusiones pop acá y allá, un BIC, Faber Castell, Radio Futura, Nokia, que, aunque diseminadas, regalan un subepígrafe temático a las 14 pistas.
Apego feroz, el single más dudoso, acaba resultando atinado solo por encabezar Nostalgia. Gana como abertura tanto presentando un rol urbano minimalista como por el contenido de sus versos. Sin embargo, producciones notables como la de Lo de antes o Te enamoraste se sienten bajas en punch.
Natalia Lacunza se crece en lo pequeño. Otro culito, cuyos pam son hondos latidos, traspasa las carnes sin recreos técnicos. Incluso encabritada con sus pajas mentales es fácil empatizar con ella en Sabes qué??? (o en Un castigo), un track soft punk que le sienta como un guante. Trío de hits.
Menos suerte corre Singapur, que se siente fugaz y desnortada pese a ser AOVE puro. De haberla encajado como interludio, intro o epílogo brillaría, como pista es brusca, acaba y termina antes de disfrutarla. Parece que Lacunza huye del bop porque Te enamoraste y Faber Castell (relación bi de por medio) tenían madera.
Queda un posible single, la folky Rápido, de deliciosa cadencia iberoamericana cuya produ detallista y tierna melodía la hacen irresistible.

The so-called #audiophile community is famous for the amount of #woo that passes for knowledge or expertise.
When you look at the DIY audio community - building things up from #electronic components or modules - you add in the cargo-cult processes used by people with no basic electronics knowledge building these things, and the false-but-confident beliefs of those with some knowledge but more assurance of their own intelligence 🙄 - and you get some real doozies in discussion threads [1] on audio/electronics fora.
I just came across one that will stick with me:
A: I saw some people are doing <X> to increase the bass from this little amp. Should I do it?
B (actually knowledgeable): Depends on the design. If it's lacking <Y>, it can help the subjective bass response of the amp.
C (overly confident): BS! OBJECTIVELY (!) you get more and better boom.
Boom-boom, you know? Your guts will tell you the objective truth.
... that is LITERALLY the definition of "subjective". 🤣
