I don't know how many other people remember this, but back when #Robocop, or possibly #Robocop2 was cinematically released in the 1980s, there was a parade involving the #NSWPolice, with someone in an actual Robocop full body suit featured... and they were wearing the suit's legs backwards, so the hydraulic struts that were designed to look like achillies tendons were on the wearer's shins.

I saw this as a photo in one of the the main Sydney newspapers of the day, reporting on the parade.

Paul Verhoeven couldn’t have been easy to work with, but his vision is evident in the final product. But that must have been a stressful experience for everyone involved!😮
