Runme is an #opensource project that aims to make #runbooks #playbooks and documentation actually runnable, making it easier to complete step-by-step instructions. It is designed to provide control over the execution, output, interaction, and other behavior of code blocks in markdown files. The project is in rapid development and welcomes contributions from the #community (1/2)
Next up, @bromann will be presenting at the San Diego Python meetup on 8/24 (this Thursday): "Creating Interactive Runbooks with Runme" - check it out! #runbooks #Events #python #runmeroadshow

Want to do #ETL, #Data or #Runbooks with #Jupyter? Join us #InPerson at #DevOpsDays #Nashville for "Getting Started with Jupyter", the #NoSlides talk. https://devopsdays.org/events/2023-nashville/ and grab the code at https://github.com/robrich/jupyter_getting_started.
To get everyone prepared and have a tool at hand when shit hits the fan... we are leaning heavy into #runbooks this year.
Great preparation not only for new team members, but also for everyone else. We are taking the time and write down all the experience of the past year.

Nice #normconf lightning talk (their lightning talks are 3-5 min long only, which is a really fun format! :) about #runbooks - short manuals for fixing #microservices that you leave behind:

Also gives some glimpse into how Flink organizes their processes :)
(The only thing I don't understand in this story is why #kubernetes hadn't restarted the pod, even if they killed a wrong pod...)
