So, the Rust Foundation has thus far engaged in, and protected, racists, accepts blood money from "defense contractors", and oooof it's not my place to talk about it but it certainly seems they practice retaliatory firing of employees.
As much as you like Rust, the Foundation seems pretty committed to making the world a worse place. I stopped learning it, but what else can be done? Rust, how to clean house here?

But “drama” after “drama” after “drama” in and around the Rust Foundation is discouraging, to say the least. Being a leader is hard, but “be the leader you would follow”… and, get your priorities straight.
The community is nothing but helpful and inclusive to me as a newcomer! But opinions, rumours, stories, and facts, are often at the centres of these “dramas”…
@lpwaterhouse @rml #RustFoundation is from AWS, Google, Huawei, Meta, and Microsoft. Bylaws make it very much representing the interests of corporations. Feels very different from the #Rust userbase I've met.
