Do you think this Mini PC could take it?
I doubt it needs an External GPU tbh

GPU: AMD Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series [Integrated]
Memory: 16 G

I mean the Steamdeck handles it fine though i am not sure if you can compare that APU to an CPU with an integrated GPU

Context:
My Sister wants a PC to play Sims but our Mom doesnt want her to have a full Desktop (dont ask she has no arguments)

I finally played Sims 4 - High School pack yesterday... Never bought it because it felt so... UTTERLY American. But it turns out I can just completely ignore all that stuff and just go to class.

So, worth the money? Yes. Will I ever join the cheer team or go to Prom? No.

So anyway I decided not to buy Sims 3.

Reason:

Turns out the old DVD collection was still in the basement behind everything else and the license keys worked still

So now I have everything but two expansions "for free" (except 30 minutes of typing License Key into the EA App.

I think I am actually going to go for it. €189 for Sims 3 and all the packs except three I am not interested in.

I started watching Sims 3 videos and the loading screen soundtrack made me go to the Steam store.

I just watched the promo material for Sims 4 again for the first time since release and boy did they oversell EVERYTHING. The biggest kicker was the "Revolutionary Emotions System" that to this day do shit all.

Once again I am contemplating getting back into Sims and realizing I have to cough up about 250-300 dollars worth to catch up (last pack I bought was Werewolves).

OR apparently I can get the COMPLETE Sims 3 for 180 dollars on Steam right now.
