The man who was detained yesterday while driving painted similar picture to what we're seeing again today.
He's a US citizen who happens to be visibly non-white and agents simply racially profiled him.
They rammed his car and terrified his family only to confirm that he is in fact a US citizen.
Today we're seeing the exact same actions again throughout the twin cities.

Most of the produce we purchase at the St Paul Farmers Market is grown by Hmong farmers. All of it is super fresh and flavorful. This weekend we purchased Brussels sprouts which I am excited to cook to serve with dinner tomorrow.
Miranda Pacheco has advanced to the general election, being one of the four candidates that won the primary.
If I lived in Duluth, I would vote for her because she will bring a good perspective on homelessness and addiction to the city council.

"A court granted the Beltrami County Historical Society Museum permission to return sacred Indigenous artifacts to Indigenous communities where they originated."
There is a lot of foot-dragging by museums with regards to repatriating artifacts. I'm glad the Beltrami County HS chose to do so, even going to court to receive permission to bypass a restriction placed on the collection by a will.

I found Miranda Pacheco's story inspiring. I hope she is elected because I believe she will be a good advocate for housing and mental health care on Duluth's city council.

“We see you everyday. But do you see us?” said Kevin Dupuis, chair of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. “We’re not invisible. We know we’re not invisible. But sometimes the system looks at us or puts it in a perspective that we are invisible.”

"The movement in the U.S. and Canada around Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives, sometimes referred to as the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement, exists to spread awareness about how Indigenous people are more likely to be victims of violence than people of other races."
"The Indian Tenure Foundation, which helps tribal nations buy back stolen land, recently launched a fund urging Minnesotans to help its cause. Several organizations that use land acknowledgements say they are working toward concrete goals to rectify historic wrongs against Indigenous people."
