Folks owning a Scanwatch 2, what is your experience in hardware and software failures?
I am thinking about getting a Scanwatch 2. The shop shows a warranty return rate of 5% in the first two years, which makes it one of the worst of all smartwatches

Jeg digger #Withings #Scanwatch 2 klokka mi, men har vært litt skuffet over batteritiden siden jeg fikk den. Den har ikke vært i nærheten av å holde den tiden de lovet.

Mine to foregående Withings klokker har vært ganske nærme.

Idag slapp de ny firmware hvor de skryter av å ha økt batteritiden med 5 dager...

Det burde kanskje heller stått "vi har rettet en bug som har slukt veldig mye strøm" 😉

I like my Withings Scanwatch 2, I really do. But it looks like after just 3 months of having it, it's dying.
And "dying" and not "died", because I have 20% of the battery and wanted to charge it, but it's simply not charging. I tried different cables, etc. but nothing works. And I can see on the internet I'm not alone.

Ehhh, I need to contact the support and we'll see what will happen.

#Scanwatch lightはECGと血中酸素濃度センサーを除いたエントリーモデルではあるけどサイクルマネジメントはついていてフェイスが37mmと小さめ。どちらかというと女性需要を取り込もうという感じのデザイン。オランダで250ユーロとお手軽にへルストラッキングを始められるという希求ぽいんとだろうか。基本的な通知機能は全部あってバッテリーも30日持つという事なので、なかなか良いのでは。心拍数もとれて初代スキャンウォッチにはない心拍トラッキングが出来る。エントリモデルなので風防はゴリラグラスとのこと。スキャンウォッチとスキャンウォッチ2はサファイアグラス。

#Scanwatch の新作が出たからちゃんと書きたいんだけど時間と余力が足りない。基本的にはScanwatch2は新しい体温センサーが24時間トラッキングと運動時のパフォーマンス計測に使われるのと心拍数モニタリングが強化されてるのと、加速度センサも良くなってるらしい。あとサイクルトラッキングが追加されてこれは一応アプリでも出来るらしいけど女性にはいい追加。ディスプレイは単色だけど16階調でグレイスケール表示が出来るようになったので表現力があがっておるのだろう。で、順当に進化してバッテリーの持続時間は30日。素晴らしい。一部ではGPS内蔵じゃないとかNFCないとか言ってる人もいるけど。それは #withings のデバイスの方向性ではないだろう。あと38mm版の針も蓄光仕様に見えるけどどうだろうか。個人的には蓄光だと嬉しいのであるが(いまはでかい42mmだけ蓄光仕様)。
初代Scanwatch が不満なく動いてるから今すぐにアップグレードする気はないけど欲しい

#Withings #ScanWatch 2が発表されたけど、順当進化でかなり魅力的。バッテリーも３週間から30日に伸び、24時間体温トラッキング（体温トラッキングはワークアウトの時とクールダウン時の体温変化を計測してワークアウトの最適化にも使うらしい）。あとディスプレイも16階調に地味に進化してる。でも今使ってる初代ScanWatchが問題なく動いてるからなあ。買い替える必要は全くないんだよなー
