Today I found out just how safe and reliable a Weller WSD51 soldering iron is!
Heard a weird transformer ticking noise this morning while sat at my desk. Searched around to find what it was...
It was my iron, happily sitting at 700degrees!
Dear reader, I haven't used my soldering iron since September.
Worse still, said iron sits below my work laptop, on my desk, right in front of me. The LED screen just out of eyeline.

Ouch! One careless false move — presenting my phone to the yellow Oyster pad rather than the QR code reader on a confusing gate line at Barking station on Tuesday — means I got charged £9.20 rather than £2.20 for Underground fares that day. Having “tapped-in” you can’t “tap-out” again at the same station so Transport for London assume you’ve spent the day racking up the maximum fare. The slip up was because this was the first time I’ve used a national rail e-ticket in five years. #seniormoment

🤣 I took took the scenic route to take Harley to the vet for another round of shots. At the first photo opportunity, I discovered that I'd left my Handy at home. **pouts**
So, no pics. Instead, another #SeniorMoment. 🙄
Harley is healthy, happy, and zappy. She gained 200g. She's now napping; I was warned one of the shots would make her sleepy.
I stopped and grabbed a pastry.
Now, it's time to start the day proper.
