After much study on how to persuade an older cat to consider wearing a harness, I am starting with simply letting him sleep on it (and get his scent all over it). Whoops! Mr Swayze had another confrontation with the neighborhood cat who likes to hang out on my porch just outside my boy's favorite window after dark. The boy got his territorial hiss-fit going, but fortunately I was able to distract him long enough to get the window closed and blinds lowered before any mayhem happened to my window screen. A snack mollified Swayze's top-cat sensibilities, and now he's more-or-less chilling. Ahhh, life with animals. 😹
