I'm growing more accustomed to saying "I designed *a* game" and I create for games, either the one I designed or others. I don't really know if I have another whole-cloth system in me. Multiple games based on the same system? Definitely, but they'll likely all just be reflections/echoes/tricks of #ShadowlightAndPersonae . Games based on other games/systems? Maybe.

I haven't done a #TTRPGRising post in a minute so I guess why not, what the hell.

What I envision is that the answers to the questions in Personae game creation and Shadowlight mystery building will map onto mystery-as-identity attributes and traits.

Since in #PersonaeSRD #PersonaeRPG, everything can be expressed as an identity, why not build the mystery of the session as one?

What is Shadowlight? Attempts at defining it have proven mostly unsuccessful. Everyone seems to know what it is, but how it does what it does evades definition.

Navel-gazing and moaning ahead.

My current #PersonaeSRD #PersonaeRPG #ShadowlightRPG #ShadowlightAndPersonae letdown? Regret? Not really sure what the right word for it is...there's a generic #TTRPG rules system, but it doesn't do much in the way of heavy lifting to evoke what the game is supposed to be about. There are games that offer the most effective tech: Gumshoe, Hints & Hijinks...Brainstorming in Atomic Robo could be reverse-engineered.
