Finished up two of the officers from my Toulmorese force. You can tell they're officers because the coffee is hot and the cigarette isn't crumpled.

Started on the pathfinder scouts. I'm not sure yet about teal for the pants, but I'm curious to see how it shakes out.

Next project underway. Asked my oldest to pick a plush she wanted and then let her pick the colors. She picked out a Phoenix and proceeded to pick the three colors I would use. I'm almost done with this little guy having started the last piece: the head and body.

Well, I decided to hold on another layer for Thor. He's already so colorful and I think once I varnish him he'll be done, but I want to see how he looks with the varnish first since it affects the color contrast so much.

It has been a busy week, lacking any travel so the blanket got no work. The _Windflower_ #shawl got what little attention I gave to #knitting. And, honestly, is going faster than I expected.

A knitting project lies on dark fabric. The project, a semi-circle of lace in a fine yarn dyed a variegated light green, is now at 70 rows completed.

#WIPWednesday • Some good progress this week thanks to my flu vaccine and a doctors appointment. The current white section I’m stitching feels like it’s really tying the Milky Way together! #SciArt #embroidery

Lia’s fingers show a wooden embroidery hoop with black linen with a rectangle of dissolvable material on which is printed the Milky Way in black and white with some red and blue markings. Some tiny single strand seed stitch and French knots in white, peach, oranges, aubergine, and dark browns and grays have been stitched. The tiny needle holds white thread. Below the Milky Way is black on black whipped backstitch that looks a bit like flames, it’s pubic hair. An hourglass-shaped needle minder that reads “this is taking forever” is attached to the cloth.

I think I haven’t made a lot of progress but then I look back at last week’s photo and I’ve added a blue band with white dots and a grey band with a sea blue pattern since then. Good stuff!

I’m not sure you can tell the off-white of the uppermost band from the pearl grey of the lower band in the photo. In fact I’m not sure that you can tell in decent light either. The grey band might just end up looking like it’s a bit dirty. Hopefully it looks ok when it’s completed though!

Quick drop in today, as I have a ton to do. #WIPwednesday

Gudrun Shawl by Zeens and Roger, and the Lola Cardigan by Lille Bjorn.

The Gudrun has ribbing added after the body, which is new for me. I find ribbing challenging, so that's attention demanding. The sweater is easier right now.

And of course, I'm working on the touch-up painting.

Crocheted shawl, where body is complete, but I'm now adding the ribbing that goes around the 3 sides.

The Lola Cardigan , where I'm now working on the body and sleeves, so it's just a lot of griddle stitch.
