There are three spools of different shades of blue weft on the far end that correspond to the section of the weft in which they were woven. On the left is a teal, the middle is royal blue and the right is a brighter royal blue. You can see the difference in shades in the weaving.

#WIPWednesday • Still working on texture. I’ve been feeling a lot better these days so I’m doing more writing than #embroidery at the moment.

Lia’s fingers show a wooden embroidery hoop with a trapezoid of black on black whipped backstitch that looks a bit like flames, but if you’ve been following this piece you’ll know it’s pubic hair. It’s definitely pubic hair. The trapezoid is 14cm wide along the top, 7cm wide along the bottom, and 8cm tall. There’s white chalk markings within the hairs. An hourglass-shaped needle minder that reads “this is taking forever” is attached to the cloth.

Another WIP Wednesday! This time for an art commission I did. It took a lot of time to do so there's a lot of work in progress screenshots for it.

@kalos Not exactly #WIPWednesday, but last night was breaking in a new hobby table lamp while slowly removing all of the erroneous supports from a bunch of (Warmachine Mk4) Cryx infantry.

Slightly mind numbing, but necessary nonetheless before I can get to the fun part of priming and painting~

A tray of Cryx infantry models from Steamforged Games' Warmachine. The models in question are an assortment of steampunk zombies and surgeons, ready to add to the numbers of the undead. The light grey color of the models reveals that they have yet to be primed (let alone painted).

I've got some #KillTeam stuff I'm working on, with plenty to assemble still, and even more to paint. I've also got the #CyberpunkRED #CombatZone box to eventually get to.

The Deathguard will be painted in a custom scheme, and the Angels of Death will be actual Chapter colors (but not Ultramarines).

On the left is the Deathguard Kill Team, and the right is the Angels of Death. Deathguard have been zenithal primed with various brown colors while the AoD got the black to light Grey treatment. DG have been painted with a lime green contrast paint (2:1 Striking Scorpion : Bad Moon). AoD was contrasted with Levaidon Blue.

This week, my patrons will find something old, terrible, and splendid down in the depths. Consider joining them.

Finished some yarn, partly spindle spun and partly done on a wheel. Fiber by Regenbogenwolle. Also almost finished with the hand spun sloth. Have to make some adjustments to the way it's attached to the branch. Started working on another Amineko with the leftover yarn. Also some progress on the Gotland sweater, although I'm losing my mojo a bit with that one.

This past weekend was full of experimenting for my costume.

My broken sword was used to test a variety of painting schemes for teal tempered steel. (Say that five times fast!)

I intended to use a real leather stamp on my bracers, but couldn't stamp with it consistently or come up with good design. Nevertheless, I’ve settled on a new, stampless design and a method to secure the bracers on my arm.
