Are Trams finally coming back to Leeds?

I have trams (or 'light rail' as it's called in the game) everywhere in my SimCity 4 metropolis. A recent update allows for more pedestrianisation, the original game was so 'American' but 20+ years of content and mods from around the world have made it the wonder it is today!

I'm laying out some agricultural zones outside the boundary of my city as we speak, this thing can go on forever, I've worked out the game map covers the area of SE England, including all of London!

This is why my city in Sim City has European style neighbourhoods and commercial roads, the American urban aesthetic is for the most part ugly as fuck. All about coin and never about humanity.
See the MAGA cattle freaking out about '15 minute cities' ie 'a liveable, walkable city'
The occasional retail park is as far as I go, but they're always linked by trams, buses, trains and MONORAILS!

Like fish in water, I wonder if Americans are even aware of how they swim in
it. The hours-long stretches of chain stores in single-storey, flat-topped
buildings. The cluster of gas stations, with functionally and aesthetically
similar convenience stores selling rows and rows of sugary food and drinks.
The big box chain stores, some of them matryoshka dolls that house other
chains within - rectangular islands of stuff surrounded by parking lots
leading to other little islands of fast food, also surrounded by parking lots,
filled with rows and rows of the most enormous pickup trucks imaginable.

I saw last week somebody was lamenting the passing of the sort of website who does something in html or whatever on their site for Xmas......well Simtropolis is holding up that fine tradition!

They even have a tally count for how many bulbs you break on their site while it's up. That's the sort of Internet Mastodon swoons over, isn't it?
